With the time of 1min04s411, the English driver Lewis Hamilton set the fastest time in the official training session of the Emilia-Romagna GP and will start at the front for the 99th time in his career. The Mercedes driver will have the two Red Bull cars on his tail at the start in Imola. Sergio Perez made the second best time, and Max Verstappen, the third. The second row completes Ferrari’s Monegasque Charles Leclerc. Alpha Tauri’s Pierry Gasly and McLaren’s Daniel Ricciardo start from the third row, respectively from fifth and sixth place. This will be the second race of the World Formula 1 2021. The first, in Bahrain, was won by Hamilton.
