The athletes from the Madrid team showed great affection towards the coach, who ended his second spell at the Spanish club

Shortly after Real Madrid confirmed the end of Zinedine Zidane’s second spell as club coach, several players of the team went to social networks to show support for the coach. Among Brazilians, the quartet formed by Marcelo, Casemiro, Vinícius Júnior e Rodrygo thanked the Frenchman for the period in which he commanded the Madrid team. Besides them, important names of the squad, like the striker Karim Benzema, Sergio Ramos e Luka Modric they also sent messages of affection. From March 2019 to May 2021, Zidane won the Spanish Championship it’s at Spanish Super Cup in the 2019/20 season. Between 2016 and 2018, on his debut as a “teacher”, the Frenchman won three editions of Champions League three cups of Club World Cup, two European Super Cups, a Spaniard and a Spanish Super Cup. In total, the coach was at the head of the club in 283 matches – there were 182 wins, 61 draws and 39 losses.

Zidane, however, was being criticized for the performance of his team, which did not win any title last season – it was the first time since the 2009/10 season that Real have not won any disputed championship. According to the Spanish newspaper “As”, three names emerge as favorites to replace him: the former striker Raul Gonzalez, club idol and current commander of Real Castilla, team B of the merengue team, and the Italians Antonio Conte, who left Inter Milan, and Massimiliano Allegri, former Juventus coach.
