According to the communication team of the King of Football, the hospital stay is not something serious. “Guys, I didn’t pass out and I’m in very good health. I went for my routine tests, which I had not been able to do before because of the pandemic. Let me know that I don’t play next Sunday!”, joked the account.

Initially, the portal “O Dia” reported that Pelé was admitted to the hospital after he passed out on Tuesday morning. According to the publication, the doctors who attended the former shirt 10 of the Brazilian Team decided to investigate the cause of the sudden loss of consciousness. The fact, however, was denied by the athlete’s press office. The report of Pan Youth Group contacted Albert Einstein’s staff and is awaiting the hospital’s position to comment on the health status of the former athlete, who is currently 81 years old.
