Zidane does not rule out the possibility of signing for Juventus in the near future. The French coach would be reunited with Cristiano Ronaldo in Turin.
Zinedine Zidane does not rule out a change of atmosphere to Turin, where he would be reunited with Cristiano Ronaldo. After Real Madrid’s 3-1 victory over Liverpool this Tuesday, the ‘merengue’ coach discussed the possibility of moving to Juventus next season.
“I like what I do. It is difficult to do better, although I have the team to do it. Italy is in my heart. I spent five years in Turin and Juventus remains an important club for me. However, I am here and focused on Real Madrid, ”said Zidane in a statement to Sky Sports Italy.
As expected, Zidane’s words had a strong impact not only in Italy, but in Spain. The French’s statements will even have caused disquiet in the Madrid structure, according to the newspaper AS.
Cristiano Ronaldo was coached by Zinédine Zidane at Real Madrid between 2015 and 2018. This would also be Zidane’s return to ‘vecchia signora’, where he was a player between 1996 and 2000, making 31 goals and 38 assists in 212 official matches. Interestingly, he went to Real Madrid the following season, in exchange for 77 million euros.
