Although there are several electric scooters on the market, most of them have very small wheels that can easily be swallowed by holes. THE Cobra it is different, as it has relatively large and robust wheels – together with a tubular stainless steel structure.
The Italian e-scooter is characterized by its modern style, but above all by its safety it gives the user. There are two models of Cobra: Smart, which is more directed towards the urban environment and Climber, which can be used for heavier services.
Both scooters have a wheel of 50 cm and diameter in the front and one 40 cm in the rear, and these wheels are covered with pneumatic tires. Scooter power is provided by electronically activated mechanical disc brakes. It also has an “E-ABS” system.
The rear wheel additionally packs a hub motor – 350 watts on the Smart and 500 watts on the Climber – which is powered by a Lithium battery placed on the structure.
With an average load the e-scooter can reach over 100 km at a maximum speed of 25 km / h. Due to its powerful engine, Climber is considered capable of facing slopes of up to 35%, while Smart reaches only 22%.
With a structure “inspired by motorcycles” it is made of stainless steel tubes rust should not be a problem. Some of the other characteristics of the Cobra include cruise control, regenerative braking, integrated and rear lights.
A Cobra is currently in effect in an Indiegogo campaign, recalls the New Atlas. In this case, prices can start at 2,170 euros for a Smart, and go up to 2,480 euros for a Climber.
In the future, the company estimates that sales prices on the market are between 2,890 and 3,310 euros.
