The Chinese Xiaomi, through Brazilian DL Electronics, brings to Brazil the new Mi Watch smart watch. According to the manufacturer, the device has a battery that can last up to 16 days of use (time that may vary with use). For comparison, the Apple Watch has battery for up to two days of use.
Mi Watch is a device compatible with smartphones with Android operating system and iPhones. It has features such as heart rate meter, oximeter and monitoring more than 100 types of physical exercises (with time counter and calorie expenditure estimate).
The watch is also water resistant and can be dipped for a limited time to 50 meters in depth. For adventurers, the Mi Watch has sensors such as a barometer, compass and GPS. At the other end, the electronic does not have Wi-Fi or NFC technology, used for contact payments.
When connected to the cell phone via Bluetooth, data on users’ daily activities is presented in the app called Mi Wear. The Mi Watch will be sold in the Xiaomi store on the internet for 1,840 reais.
