Portugal registered this Wednesday 3,203 new cases of infection by covid-19 and another 15 deaths, according to the epidemiological bulletin of the Directorate-General for Health (DGS).

Portugal registered this Wednesday 15 deaths attributed to covid-19, 3,203 new cases of infection by the coronavirus and a further reduction in hospital admissions, according to official data.

According to the epidemiological bulletin of the Directorate-General for Health (DGS), 919 people with covid-19 are now hospitalized, minus 26 compared to tuesday, 204 of which in intensive care, the same value as the day before.

Most of the deaths were registered in the North region (7), followed by Lisbon and Vale do Tejo (5), Center (2) and South (1).

In the last 24 hours, 3,290 patients were reported to have recovered, out of a total of 912,620 since the start of the pandemic.
