Is this the same hot topic in Maharashtra political circles now? Did National Congress Party (NCP) leader Sharad Pawar secretly meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah during his visit to Ahmedabad last week? Or not? There is an interesting discussion going on about that. If the secret meeting between the two is true then there is a big debate going on as to what changes this will lead to in Maharashtra politics. Amit Shah, who was responding to a reporter’s question on a secret meeting with Sharad Pawar at a press conference, locked the media ‘speculation’ with sarcastic remarks that ‘everything cannot be said out loud’. Sharad Pawar’s secret meeting with Amit Shah has sparked a heated debate in Maharashtra politics, which has sparked tensions between the ruling Shiv Sena and the NCP. However, Shiv Sena and NCP leaders have denied reports of a secret meeting between Amit Shah and Sharad Pawar. NCP leader Nawab Malik, who has denied reports of Sharad Pawar’s secret meeting with Amit Shah, has accused the BJP of creating rumors. Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Routh also said that the meeting did not take place.

Although the NCP and Shiv Sena leaders say that no such secret meeting has taken place, the issue is yet to be resolved, except in Maharashtra. Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrakant Patil has made interesting remarks on the latest Amit Shah-Sharad Pawar secret meeting speculations. Sharad Pawar has made sarcastic remarks that he may be with Union Home Minister Amit Shah for ‘any work’. However, he said it was natural in Indian culture for leaders to meet outside of politics and not need to look at it through a magnifying glass. He said there was no need to assume that such visits were for political decisions. Amit Shah is the Union Home Minister and Sharad Pawar will be with him for any work.
