In Bejwada, the name given to political activism, there are signs that the Baldia war is going to be juicy. Is it the mayor’s chair? Mine ..? The major parties are saying that Psy means Psy.
Interesting fight in Vijayawada Municipal Corporation: In Bejwada, the name given to political activism, there are signs that the Baldia war is going to be juicy. Is it the mayor’s chair? Mine ..? He said that the major political parties are vying for the fight against Psy. Kaun Banega Bejwada Mayor? This question is being heard all over the political capital. Negotiations on that are starting with any two together. Can the Opposition retain the ruling YCP, which has spread its irreversible dominance in the panchayat war? If these battles turn into an infighting within the opposition, will the VCP victory be over Nalleru? Who is Nagamma, the heroine of Peethamekke? These are the questions that are bothering the people of Bejawada now.
Bejwada politics has always been a hot topic in political circles. In it, the YCP and TDP leaders, who were seeking the mayoral seat, abruptly increased the local heat. If the ruling party leaders say that the schemes will turn into weapons and tarnish the address of the opposition Telugu Desam party, the yellow scarves are challenging the fact that the YCP has begun to fall and the party’s colors are sure to fade. It has become interesting to know who will get the entire Bejwada mayoral seat.
In the last election, there were 59 wards in Bejawada municipality. With the latest redistricting, the number of wards has increased to 64. In order to get the Bejwada Baldia seat, one has to win 35 seats. The ruling YCP, which is already in power in the panchayat elections, is strategising to continue the same wave in the municipal elections. Meanwhile, TDP, Janasena-BJP, CPI and CPM are getting ready for the ordeal in the Vijayawada municipal ring. While the TDP is in the process of voting to show the progress made during its tenure as TDP mayor, the Janasena-BJP alliance is planning to grow into an alternative party by showing the failures of the ruling and opposition parties.
9 lakh 15 thousand voters in 64 divisions in Vijayawada city will exercise their right to vote. While the ruling YCP is contesting for 64 seats in the respective divisions of the city, the opposition TDP is allied with the CPI in 59 wards. TDP allotted 5 seats to CPI. In the Janasena-BJP alliance, Janasena is contesting for 37 seats and BJP for 27 seats. The CPI (M) is going into the ring alone in some of its strongholds.
Many feel that local body elections are almost always in favor of the ruling party in the state. But this time around, political observers say the mayoral seat is not going to be easy. The Janasena-BJP has announced its candidates between the YCP and TDP after assessing the social and economic aspects within the 64 divisions. With the mayoral seat being allotted to a woman general, there are large-scale hopefuls in the ruling and opposition parties whose efforts they are making for the mayoral seat. Many have backed down with Jagan’s decision not to give seats to their family members who hold MLA, MLC and ministerial posts in the city.
However, party leader Gautam Reddy has said that the almighty is pushing his daughter Nikhita Reddy to sit on the mayoral pedestal. On the other hand, it is being propagated that the pious mayor who contested and won as a last time corporator is in the race for the post. However, the leaders of almost all the parties are adamant that if the name of the mayoral candidate is announced now, there will be controversy in the party.
On the other hand, the number of aspirants for the mayoral seat in the opposition TDP is also high. Bejwada MP Keshineni Nani threw her second daughter Shweta into the ring. If there are rumors circulating in TDP circles about the request of the white mayor .. On the other hand, the campaign that Bonda Uma will also put his wife in the ring is running on the other side. That is why Vijayawada is said to be focusing on 22 locations in the west. The Janasena-BJP alliance seems to be moving ahead with the strategy of winning as many wards as possible and then playing a key role in the mayoral election.
It seems that the Congress party, which has ruled the joint state of Andhra Pradesh for a long time, is in the ring for the current municipal elections. It is surprising that the existence of the Congress party is so limited that it is not even known where it is contesting. It seems certain that the Congress party, which lost in Kunarilli after the partition of the state, will not be able to compete in the current municipal elections as it has not received any votes even after six years. There are signs that the Left, which once had a strong cadre in Bejawada, is now limited to maintaining its presence. In this, the CPI is allied with the Telugu Desam Party and is vying to win at least five seats. The CPI (M) is making moves to win in the wards according to its strength. All in all, this election turned out to be juicy as there were strong candidates in the Bejwada mayoral race.
