AP SEC Orders: AP SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar has directed the collectors to declare March 10 as a holiday in view of the municipal elections in the state. It was suggested that the holiday should be declared in 12 municipalities and 75 municipalities where elections will be held. He held a review with collectors on election arrangements on Monday. He said government offices should be closed on polling and counting days. Public schools are to be utilized on Election Day (March 10) and Counting Day (March 14). He directed the police to make strong arrangements for the elections and focus on equitable polling stations. He thanked all the officials who assisted in the smooth conduct of the panchayat elections.
