Preparation of banana powder:
First, rinse the bananas, put them in a cooker, add water and cook until four whistles are heard. Once they have cooled remove the banana peels and chop the inside into thin slices.
Then put the pan on the gas stove, heat it, add oil, mustard seeds, some green peas, two black peppercorns, add chopped boiled banana pieces, add some salt and turmeric and cover. After frying comes a pungent odor. Then add some curry powder, add salt and let it cool down after a while.
It’s delicious banana powder. It goes well with rice and chapatis.
Ingredients for making curry powder:
200 grams of green peas
A tablespoon of coriander
2 teaspoons of cumin
All these should be fried separately without oils. Then add a little bit of dried coconut and mix well. Store this powder in a bottle and sprinkle a couple of spoons of powder at the end after the curry is cooked.
