Prime Time Zone, Telangana Bureau: The Union Ministry of Women and Child Welfare has nominated 32 children for the ‘Prime Minister’s National Child Award’ for this year for their creative and socially gifted service talents across the country. Only one student from Telangana was selected. Aastha Saxena, the joint secretary in the ministry, wrote a letter to the state women and child welfare commissioner three days ago that the award would be given to Chadalwada Himesh, a 13-year-old boy from Medchal district. Today, Prime Minister Modi will capture both of them via video conference.
For this, the collectors of the respective districts were directed to make the necessary technical arrangements. Himesh has invented a smart watch for the health care of people suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. In view of the difficulties his grandmother was having, he made a smart watch through which he could create an app that would send an alert message to the mobile number connected to the watch immediately if the patient had BP, pulse, or any other unpredictable symptoms. As soon as the patient gets out of bed, the message goes to the mobile numbers mentioned in the app. This allows them to constantly monitor their movements digitally. Himesh was nominated for the award by the Central Government for making this innovative device.
