Gujarat Municipal Election Result 2021: BJP continues to dominate Gujarat Municipal Corporation elections. The BJP won six corporations. Ahmedabad, Surat., Bhavnagar, Jamnagar, Rajkot, Vadodara. . The BJP won 466 seats in 576 divisions in this election.
The main opposition Congress has not been able to make a big impact. Limited to just 45 seats. Op Boni, who entered the ring for the first time in this election, was beaten. Surat Corporation won 27 divisions and filled a new josh in the party ranks. In Ahmedabad, on the other hand, the MIM party won 8 seats. With the election victory, there was a commotion near the BJP office.
Activists set off fireworks and celebrated. Union Home Minister Amit Shah congratulated Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani. Sweets were fed and celebrated. Amit Shah said the BJP had won wherever elections were held. He said the BJP would also win the upcoming Bengal elections. Prime Minister Modi also hailed his victory in the Gujarat municipal elections.
He said the people of Gujarat have once again maintained faith in the BJP. Opposition parties are celebrating the first time in Gujarat’s municipal elections that they have won 27 seats. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is scheduled to attend a victory rally in Surat on May 26. In Bhavnagar, the BJP won 44 seats out of 52 divisions.
Here the Congress is limited to just eight seats. In Jamnagar, the BJP won 50 of the 64 seats. The Congress won 11 seats and the BSP three. In Ahmedabad, the BJP won a total of 192 seats with 161 seats. While the Congress won 15 seats, the MIM bagged 8 seats. Yet in some places the counting continues.
