Chief Executive used the result of his antibody test as a justification for his immunity; he even criticized those presentable who were ‘agglomerated’ in the acts against the government
The president Jair Bolsonaro (no party) again stated this Monday, 13, that he is immune against Covid-19 even without having been vaccinated. In conversations with supporters in front of the Palácio da Alvorada, the head of the Executive used the results of his antibody detection test as a justification for his immunity. The president also said he believes he has been infected a second time by the coronavirus. “I didn’t get the vaccine, I’m 991 [resultado do exame do número de anticorpos] . I think I got it again [coronavírus] and I didn’t even know about it,” said Bolsonaro. There is a consensus among experts, however, that the individual can contract the disease even after being protected, either by the vaccine or by natural infection. In the case of immunizations, all that are being applied in Brazil have high protection against the severe form of the disease, hospitalizations and deaths caused by the coronavirus, but none has 100% protection against infection and mild cases. To supporters, Bolsonaro also pointed out that five people were present “crowded” in the demonstrations held last Sunday, 12, against the government.
