Sasikala: Politics in Tamil Nadu is changing rapidly. Sasikala has filed a petition in the Supreme Court claiming that the symbol of the two belonging to the AnnaDMK belongs to him. We are making every effort to capture the party.
Posters are being lit up across the state in support of Atu Sasikala. The posters said that Sasikala should lead the AIADMK party and that the Anna DMK party workers should support Sasikala to win the upcoming elections. Taking these seriously, CM Palaniswami and Deputy CM Panneer Selvam expelled from the party those responsible for the posters.
Shashikala and her lawyers are looking for a way to escape the disqualification hunt. Sikkim State Transport Minister Prem Singh Damang has been jailed in a piracy case. He was released from prison in 2018 and will not run for office for six years. But he contested the elections next year and became the Chief Minister. Easy exempted him under Section 11 of the Public Representation Act. Now Sasikala is also expected to resort to Easy in the same way.
