A new chariot was prepared for the burnt Srilaxminarasimhaswamy in the interior of the East Godavari district. In this context, Chief Minister Jagan will visit the temple at Antarvedi. Revenue Minister Vellam Palli Srinivas said that Jagan will visit Antarvedi on the 19th of this month on the occasion of Rathsaptami Parvati.
He said the newly-made chariot was likely to be taken out on the occasion of Rathsaptami. It is known that the Antarvedi chariot was burnt by unidentified thugs. On this, Vellampalli said that the sentiments of the devotees were damaged as the chariot was burnt. The government responded immediately and said it had sought a CBI inquiry.
However, he said it was unfortunate that the CBI had not taken any action so far. He said that the chariot is currently under construction. On the third day, Purnahuti was performed and all kinds of pujas were performed. Visakha Swarupananda Swamy was the chief guest at the event and said that Hazrai Pooja was completed.
