A 65-year-old man from Sherpur Kalan village in Ludhiana, Chandigarh, works in a nearby factory. He was engaged to be married to his daughter on February 21st. However, the man, who thought he would be left alone if he married his daughter, killed his wife (60) and his daughter (60) with a hammer while they were asleep on Friday night.
