With thought-provoking titles debuting on major streaming services, the last weekend in May promises a lot of emotions for those who don’t want to get off the couch. At Disney +, the highly anticipated Cruella, starring Emma Stone, is finally available. At HBO Go, the feature “Oslo” tells the behind the scenes of the peace agreement between Israel and Palestine, negotiated in 1993 in the capital of Norway. And on Netflix, “Milagre Azul”, with Dennis Quaid, promises to be as exciting as classic “The Miracle of Cell 7”; and the documentary “O Divino Baggio” tells the story of Italian ace Roberto Baggio.

O Divino Baggio (Netflix)
Divino Baggio follows Roberto Baggio’s 22-year career and shows both the history of the football champion and the man behind the shirt, including his conflicts with coaches, unforeseen events and the extraordinary ability of the star to react. It is a portrait of an icon destined to become a symbol of Italian football around the world. The Divino Baggio opens on May 26.
Blue Miracle (Netflix)
In Milagre Azul, a group of orphaned children is at risk of running out of a place to live when their institution is threatened with closure due to lack of funds. Then, they and the director join a grumpy sailor (Dennis Quaid) to go on a fishing tour. If they win, they can use the prize to save the orphanage.
Thousands of years in the future, humans have disappeared, and the city of “Eden 3” is inhabited only by robots. During a routine task, two agricultural robots accidentally awaken a human girl from a state of suspension. The fact disputes everything they were taught to believe: that humans were just an ancient forbidden myth. Together, the two robots decide to raise the child in secret, in a safe place outside Eden.
Cruella (Disney +)
“Cruella”, new live-action film presents the story of the legendary and most iconic – and notoriously fashion – Disney villain, Cruella de Vil. Set in 70s London amid the punk rock revolution, the film features a young con artist named Estella, an intelligent and creative girl determined to make a name for herself through her designs. She befriends a pair of young thieves and together they build a life for themselves on the streets of London. One day, Estella’s talent for fashion catches the eye of Baroness Von Hellman, a fashion legend who is devastatingly chic and frightening. But their relationship unleashes a course of events and revelations that will make Estella embrace her rebellious side and become the evil, elegant and revenge-oriented Cruella.

Adapted from the Tony Award-winning homonymous play, the feature tells a real story of negotiations between relentless enemies that include secret conversations, unlikely friendships and the silent heroism of a committed group of Israelis, Palestinians and Norwegian mediators who worked for the settlement.
