Judge Airton Vieira, assistant to the minister Alexandre de Moraes, the Supreme Federal Court (STF), decided to maintain the arrest in flagrante delicto of the federal deputy Daniel Silveira (PSL-RJ). The Chamber of Deputies was waiting for the opinion of the audience to decide which strategy will be adopted. Party leaders believe that revoking a referenced decision, unanimously by the Supreme Federal Court (STF) would open an unnecessary crisis with the Judiciary. For Silveira’s prison to be revoked, 257 votes are needed.
