According to various reports, Nagpur has a higher population of 5 million people compared to Mumbai, which has a population of 13 million. Statewide, Amravati has the highest positivity rate of 41.5 per cent in the state.
On Friday, the number of Kovid-19s in Mumbai rose by 1,034 to 3,23,877, causing three new deaths, health officials said. That brings the total death toll to 11,461, an official said. The city reported more than 1,000 Kovid-19 cases for the third day in a row, with 1,145 and 1,167 cases reported on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively.
