Bengal CM and Tunamul Congress leader Mamata Banerjee filed her nomination in Nandigram on Wednesday. As she arrived, TMC leaders, activists and supporters chanted ‘Khela Hob’. Before filing the nomination, Mamata performed special pujas at the Maharudra Siddhartha Temple here. Before she entered the temple a large number of women blew the conch and gave her a solid welcome. Competed to shake hands with her. Didi, on the other hand, stands at a roadside tea stall in the constituency and makes tea for customers. The stall owner was shocked.
Mamata also visited some temples here yesterday and mentioned the Chandipath prophecies. Meanwhile, TMC activists have complained to the Bengal Chief Electoral Officer that they have come to know that some people in some temples in Nandigram have handed over boxes and matches with BJP symbols and photos of the party leaders to devotees. They accused the BJP of making such intrusive moves from now on.
It is learned that BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari from Nandigram is contesting against Mamata. He will file his nomination on the 12th of this month. Mithun Chakraborty and other prominent leaders will be campaigning on Suvendu’s behalf. As election days approach, voters and the people of this country will see this kind of picture and weirdness between the major parties.
