Bjp spokesperson: BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia was highly critical of Vistara Airlines. Vistara Airlines has been accused of offering only ‘halal’ meat to its passengers. To that extent he tweeted. Gaurav Bhatia arrived on a Vistara flight from Kolkata to Delhi on Monday. Arriving in Delhi, he expressed his anger over the Vistara service. Summary of his tweet .. Flight crew offered lunch to passengers while traveling on Bhatia flight. However, is it the non-veg ‘jakta’ they are serving? ‘Halala’? Bhatia inquired. The staff replied that only ‘halal’ was available. He severely criticized the Vistara service. He said providing only halal was evidence of discrimination. Do you value the attitudes of others when it comes to food? Asked. “Halal is part of the Islamic diet,” he tweeted.
However, Gaurav Bhatia asked Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri to take immediate action. ‘Equality is the cornerstone of democracy. It was ignored by the Vistara company.
