People are urged to take precautions such as wearing masks and adhering to social distance in view of the severity of the virus. Festivals like Christmas, New Year and Sankranthi should be celebrated at home and people should not go to crowded places. On the other hand, it is strengthening the public health system. Eleven CT scan machines and three MRI machines cost Rs. 30 crore has been allotted. He said operation theaters in government hospitals were being modernized. The process is expected to be completed in six months.
