Prime Time Zone, Telangana Bureau: The deadline for nominations for the graduate MLC elections is 23rd of this month. Nominations came in heavily on Monday in the wake of the deadline approaching. Independent candidates along with major political parties have also filed large-scale nominations for the Mahabubnagar-Hyderabad-Rangareddy MLC seat. A total of 47 nominations were filed for the post on Monday alone. This brings the total number of nominations filed so far to 90. Among those who filed nominations on Monday, Surabhi Vanidevi from TRS, N Ramachandra Rao from BJP and Chinnareddy from Congress submitted another set of nomination papers. Congress leaders Rewant Reddy and Anjan Kumar Yadav presented nomination papers to the RO. Along with them, Samala Venu, Harshavardhan Reddy and others were among the nominees. However, TRS candidate Vanidevi failed to make the nomination as per the rules. This gave her another chance to make it through Tuesday.
