Senator filed complaint against PSOL deputy for alleged ‘slanderous denunciation’ and cited actions similar to other family members, such as President Jair Bolsonaro and his brother Renan
The senator Flávio Bolsonaro (Republicans-RJ) registered a police report against the deputy Ivan Valente (PSOL-SP) for supposedly “slanderous denunciation”By the parliamentarian. The bulletin was recorded in the late afternoon of Tuesday, 6, just under a day after Flávio became aware of the complaint through an article published by TV Globo. In the bulletin, the senator says that Valente is the author of an investigation request to the Public Ministry (MP) on account of a loan obtained from the Bank of Brasília for the purchase of a property that, according to Flávio, occurred in an “absolutely legitimate” way . In the document, Flávio also says that Valente’s intention with the request is to “attack and destroy” his reputation for “ideological and political reasons”.
In another section of the police report, the senator says that Valente and “other parliamentarians from PSOL and the left ”, has been acting in the same way with members of his family, citing his father, the president Jair Bolsonaro (without a party), and his younger brother, Renan Bolsonaro, 22, who would have been a victim of the same crime on the part of Valente. Finally, Flávio says that the case must be analyzed within the context cited, since Valente would be committing “routine practice” against members of the Bolsonaro family and being followed by “other deputies on the left”.
