Almost 12 years later, with the help of the Sarathi Trust, the Manshi Family Court went to court. Family court judge Mukesh Bhargava issued summons to Manshi’s husband. The court clarified that there will be strict measures in the case of child marriages.

In addition, if convicted of child marriage, he faces up to two years in jail and a fine of up to Rs 1 lakh.
