Lion Severely Injured: Goods train collided with a lion in Rajula forest area in Amreli district of Gujarat. The lion was seriously injured in the accident on Tuesday. Upon receiving the information, forest officials immediately rushed to the spot and rushed the injured lion to the Babarkot Rescue Center. He was rushed to Sakkirbagh Zoo in Junagadh for further treatment after first aid. DFO Nisharaj said that the male lion was seriously injured in the accident and is currently undergoing treatment. The lion, aged between 5 and 9, was traveling between the Rajula forest area and the Pipavav port when the accident happened, he said. Nisharaj said a case has been registered and is being investigated over the incident. Lions roam mostly in the Amreli area. Many lions have died in similar incidents over the years.
