India’s first ‘digital university’

With the help of technology, things can be fixed from the sitting position. The main reason for this is technology. As tech usage is increasing day by day .. an e-world is being created around us. In this order, people also prefer digital presence over physical. In this context, the Government of Kerala has taken the initiative to make various innovations towards the Technological Knowledge Hub or Society. Recently, the country’s first digital university was inaugurated and a new chapter was started.

Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan and Governor Arif Mohammad Khan attended the inaugural function of the Digital University via video conference. Governor Arif Khan addressed the Kerala University of Digital Sciences, Innovation and Technology as the Chancellor of the Technocity in Mangalore. He said the state would strive to bring in the latest technologies and use them for human care and development. He hoped that with technological innovations would bring about a significant change in human life and that the state would become a global hub for technology. Meanwhile, Kerala CM Vijayan hopes that this digital university will create more employment opportunities for the youth in the country. He said that everyone in the society should become financially self-sufficient with technology and come to perfection in many fields with technology. The youth were advised to keep abreast of the changes coming in the field of technology around the world.
