Jaish-e-Mohammed militant Hidayat Ullah Malik said he had conducted a requiem at the office of National Security Adviser Ajit Doval and other headquarters in Delhi. He hails from Shopian district in Jammu and Kashmir and was recently arrested by Kashmir police. The police were shocked to hear what he said during their interrogation. Hidayatullah said he flew from Srinagar to Delhi on May 24, 2019, where he took video of the office of National Security Adviser Ajit Doval and CISF personnel. He revealed that he had sent the video to his colleague in Pakistan via WhatsApp. He referred to the fellow as a ‘doctor’. Itagadu also revealed the code names and phone numbers of 10 of his friends in Pakistan, police said. From him they seized other weapons, including two pistols, ammunition and grenades. In addition to these, they said, some key characters were also among those they captured.
They said he was the chief of a terrorist organization called Lashkar-e-Mustafa, which was also affiliated with Jaish. Hidayatullah was arrested on the 6th of this month. It is believed that there may be other terrorists behind him.
