Prime Time Zone, Khammam: State Transport Minister Puvada Ajay Kumar said that the Telangana state government has given a big boost to welfare. He was speaking at a press conference held at the camp office in Khammam on Friday. The CM said the lion’s share of the KCR budget was allocated to the irrigation department, with a maximum of four projects under construction in the district. In particular, agriculture, irrigation, education, medicine, welfare schemes and other sectors have been given high priority. The district Sitarama project has also been funded in the budget.
Minister Harsham expressed satisfaction over the allocation of Rs. 1500 crore to CM KCR RTC with a view to the welfare of the employees of Telangana Road Transport Corporation. Khammam city development work has been in full swing for the last three months and in view of this, special thanks to CM KCR and Municipal Minister KTR for allocating Rs 150 crore to Khammam Corporation. Minister KTR will visit the district on the 27th of this month, the minister said.
He said a new bus stand would be set up in Khammam and the foundation stone would be laid for the IT hub Phase 2. He said that the newly constructed municipal building in Sattupalli in Sattupalli constituency will be cobbled together.
