This Magha Gupta Navratri is a nine day festival where Goddess Durga is worshiped as a form of energy. But there are four Navratri festivals a year. However, during Chaitra and Sharada Navratri, people mostly celebrate. However, Navratri is also celebrated during the months of Magha and Ashadha. These are called Gupta Navratri. The Gupta Navratri which falls in the month of May is also known as Gayatri ‘Shishir Navratri’.
