Mumbai: Maharashtra, which has the highest number of cases, has been steadily increasing sanctions to curb the corona. Pune has recently imposed a curfew from 6 pm to 6 am and ordered the closure of restaurants, bars, malls and shrines on weekdays. However, food parcel and delivery services are allowed until 10 p.m.
Government buses will also stop in the city. Only emergency personnel are exempt from these restrictions. The sanctions, which take effect on Saturday, will be reviewed on Friday. A meeting on corona conditions in Pune was held on Friday under the chairmanship of state deputy CM Ajit Pawar. Later, Pune Divisional Commissioner Saurabh Rao announced the sanctions. He explained that the ban on social, cultural and political celebrations would take effect next Friday. It was revealed that a maximum of 50 people are not allowed for the wedding ceremony and a maximum of 20 people for the funeral.
