Minister Kodali Nani explained the SEC showcause notice. He said he had not made any malicious remarks against the Election Commission. He said that he had respect for the constitutional institutions and spoke only on the results of the early elections. Opposition parties have stated they will not run in the by-elections. Considering his explanation .. the Minister asked SEC to withdraw the showcause notice. He said he had only advised the SEC and had not made any allegations.
