Prime Time Zone, Features: Vodafone Idea (VI) has launched its new ‘Pay Per View’ model with the V-Movies and TV app. Formerly Vodafone Play, Idea Movies & TV, the application now offers premium video on demand (PVOD) services. Hungama Digital Media Entertainment has teamed up with ‘Tenet, Scoob’ to offer more blockbuster movies to give their customers super entertainment.
VI users have to pay a certain amount for premium movies. While it is possible to rent premium movies under this new policy, One Time Purchase will be available soon, VI said. The VI Movies and TV app makes 380+ movies available to their customers, including the latest blockbusters such as The Joker, Birds of Prey, Scoob, Aquaman, and Christopher Nolan’s New Movie ‘Tenet’. They are available in four languages namely English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Customers are currently viewing content at no extra cost on recharge or post-paid plans. However, in this new ‘Pay Per View’ model, they have to pay extra for the content they want to see in the language of their choice. In this order, Rs. 60- 120 to be paid and must be seen within 48 hours of rent. In addition to paid movies, users can watch over 9,500 movies in 13 different languages, over 300 live TV channels, as well as original web series and international TV shows.
