This Sunday, Portugal registers four more deaths and 193 positive cases of covid-19 in the last 24 hours, according to data from the epidemiological bulletin of the Directorate-General for Health (DGS).
With four more deaths and 193 new cases, Portugal now has a total of 16,879 deaths and 823,335 cases of covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic.
Conversely, there are 349 more recovered patients, bringing the number of cured to 780,322. Thus, there are currently 26,134 active cases, 160 less than the day before. The DGS bulletin also informs that there are 15,960 contacts under surveillance by health authorities.
Count 517 patients admitted to hospitals (five more than yesterday), of which 117 in intensive care units (minus nine).
Of the total cases, 331,105 were registered in the North (plus 30), 117,315 in the Centro region (plus 19), 312,155 in Lisbon and Vale do Tejo (plus 111), 29,170 in Alentejo (plus 11), 20,830 in the Algarve (plus eight ), 4,086 in the Autonomous Region of the Azores and 8,674 in the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
As for deaths, 5,307 are related to the North (plus one), 3,000 to the Centro region, 7,151 to Lisbon and the Tagus Valley (plus three), 970 to the Alentejo, 354 to the Algarve, 29 to the Autonomous Region of the Azores and 68 to the Autonomous Region. of Madeira.
