This Monday Portugal recorded six deaths related to covid-19 and 159 new cases of infection with the new coronavirus, according to the Directorate-General for Health (DGS).
According to the DGS epidemiological bulletin, 159 new cases of covid-19 and six deaths were registered in the last 24 hours.
This Monday 536 people are hospitalized (19 more than on Sunday) and the number of new hospitalizations has been oscillating in the last days, after a period of some stability in the decreasing direction.
In intensive care, Portugal today has 112 patients, minus five compared to Sunday, the lowest figure since October 7, the day that 104 people were hospitalized in these units.
