SBI Mega E-Auction: State Bank of India (SBI) will hold a mega e-auction on Friday on a number of assets it holds. SBI says this is a good opportunity to buy quality assets at a lower price than the market. That said, all types of assets will be sold at this auction. SBI tweeted that it was selling all types of assets, including homes, industries, commercial assets, factories, machinery and vehicles.

Participants in this bid are required to submit an Ernest Deposit of Money in respect of the property. SBI also directed the bidder to submit KYC documents to the concerned department. Bidders are required to obtain a digital signature from an e-auctioneer or from another accredited agency. After submitting the EMD and KYC documents, SBI will send the login ID and password to the bidder. SBI said it would allow anyone to participate in the auction of assets held by them.

However, it is a good opportunity for those who want to own a house, land or vehicle for less than the market value. The bank’s auctioned residential, commercial properties as well as land, missionary, vehicles, etc. However, the bank said it would be highly transparent about the auction. It said it would provide the required documents and details with court orders relating to the auctioning properties.

-EMD for specific property as indicated in the e-auction notice.
-Digital signature: Bidders may contact e-bidder or any other official agency to obtain a digital signature
Bidders will be sent a registered login ID and password to their e-mail ID after submitting the EMD deposit and KYC documents to the relevant branch.
