Sister Murder: An accused murdered his own sister to escape a mass sexual assault case. The sexual assault victim was found interfering with the police in an attempt to push the crime on the family members. The atrocity took place in Amroha district of Uttar Pradesh. 21-year-old Ankit Chaudhary along with his cousin Akshay kidnapped a Dalit minor girl and gang-raped her on January 18. A case has been registered against them under various sections at the Dindauli police station over the incident.
Ankit, on the other hand, devised a plan to escape the sexual assault case. He plotted to assassinate Akkaneha, an elder who had been living in Delhi for four years for work, and to pass the blame on to the family of the sexual assault victim. On the 7th of this month, Ankit phoned his sister. He said the victim’s family members were coming to speak for the settlement of the case.
He then booked a car and drove to Delhi. Akka left for Amroha in the car with Neha. He stopped the car at Green Colony and took her to a vacant lot near a private school. There she fell as her older sister choked. Immediately struck with a brick and brutally murdered. After confirming that the older sister was dead, he threw her clothes in the nearby bushes. He then went to a relative’s house and hid.
Locals, on the other hand, found Neha’s body and informed the police. Police examining the CCTV footage found that she had been brought in a dedicated car. With this, Ankit was taken into custody and questioned and the real truth was revealed. He confessed to killing his sister himself. Ankit said he did this to get out of the sexual assault case. Police arrested Ankit and remanded him in custody.
