Star Wars actor confirms start of series filming for Disney +

Scheduled for 2022, Obi-Wan Kenobi will be a series from the cinematographic universe of Star Wars. In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel Live, actor Ewan McGregor (protagonist) confirmed the start of filming for the series.

McGregor commented that he filmed a scene on May 4, known as Star Wars Day. At the time of the interview, made via internet, this week, the actor was in his office in the film studio.

McGregor did not reveal details of the plot or any participation of characters known to the general public, such as the villain Darth Vader, alleging ignorance of the script.

The series will launch on the Disney + streaming app and will feature six episodes. The plot will take place ten years after the events in Revenge of the Sith, episode III of the Star Wars saga, consisting of nine episodes.
