MLC nomination : The process of filing nominations for the graduate delegates’ elections in the Telugu States Legislative Council is over. Nominations have been received for Hyderabad-Rangareddy-Mahabubnagar, Warangal-Khammam-Nallagonda constituencies from the 16th of this month. A total of 302 nominations were received. A total of 110 people received 179 sets of nominations for the Mahabubnagar-Rangareddy-Hyderabad constituency. On Tuesday, 51 people filed 89 nominations. A total of 123 nominations were received from 78 candidates for the Warangal-Khammam-Nallagonda constituency. On the last day, 30 candidates, including TRS candidate Palla, filed 55 sets of nominations. Nominations will be considered on Wednesday. The final list of nominations will be revealed later. The deadline for subdivision is 26th of this month.
Nominations for the MLC positions in the AP have been filed. The process of accepting nominations for the Krishna-Guntur and East-West Godavari district teacher MLC seats ended on Tuesday. A total of 20 nominations were filed for the MLC post in Guntur-Krishna districts. 12 nominations were received for the MLC post in East-West Godavari. State Chief Electoral Officer Vijayanand said 32 nominations had been filed for the two seats.
Polling will be held on March 14 from 8 am to 4 pm. On the 17th of the same month the election votes for the two MLC seats are counted and the results are then announced.
