Prime Time Zone, Webdesk: Former minister Yanamala Ramakrishna demanded that Governor Bishwabhushan Harichandran immediately intervene in the developments in the AP. He clarified that the power to conduct elections rests entirely with the Election Commission. He said it was the responsibility of the governor to ensure that employees were allocated for the panchayat elections.
He said the ministers’ request to co-operate in the conduct of the elections was unprecedented in the country’s history. Yanamala said Jagan did not have the courage to face local elections and questioned whether there were any objections to the panchayat elections that were not in the management of liquor shops.
