Tikayat has amassed assets to the tune of big business men. Rakesh Tikayat is leading the farmers in the ongoing movement against the new cultivation laws in the suburbs of the capital Hastinapur. His latest asset log is surprising everyone. He is said to have assets worth nearly Rs 80 crore in four states and 13 cities.
Rakesh Tikayat, once a Delhi Police constable, is now the head of Rs 80 crore. He has invested in various businesses such as lands, petrol pumps, showrooms and bricks. It has businesses in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi and Maharashtra. He also has assets in Muzaffarnagar, Lalitpur, Jhansi, Lakhimpur, Kheri, Bijnor, Badan, Delhi, Noida, Ziabad, Dehradun, Roorkee, Haridwar and Mumbai.
Rakesh Tikayat came to light with a movement against cultivation laws. The farmer is leading the fight. Rakesh Tikayat remembers the concerns of food donors. They are fighting so hard. Once the movement seemed to have cooled down..the two teardrops he fired turned the fight around another turn. With that sentiment, the breadwinners are struggling again. The peasant world has always supported him against agricultural laws.
However, the issue of Tikayat assets has now become a hot topic. Questions have been raised as to how Tikayat, a former constable, acquired crores of assets. Tikayat is currently 51 years old. Tikayat married Sunita Devi in 1985. They have three children. One son, two daughters. Youngest daughter Jyoti Tikayat lives in Australia. Even there Jyoti Tikayat is expressing solidarity to the farmers. A rally in support of farmers was held on February 8 in Melbourne. However, questions have been raised as to how Rakesh Tikayat, who has worked hard for food donors, acquired assets worth crores of rupees.
