Trains stopped at Nalgonda


Prime Time Zone, Webdesk: Train services from Guntur via Nalgonda were disrupted. Several express trains stopped at 3 pm today. The underpass at Narkatpally near Nalgonda railway station was under construction, disrupting train services on the route. Railway officials said the underpass would be completed by four o’clock this evening. As the underpass work was not completed on time, trains from Guntur to Nalgonda had to stop at another station in Nalgonda district.

As a result, the Janmabhoomi Express from Guntur to Secunderabad via Nalgonda stopped at Nalgonda railway station just after 3 pm. The Trivandrum Express (Sabari Express) from Hyderabad to Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala would have stopped at Chityala station. The Falaknuma Express would have stopped at Ramannapeta and the Narayanadri Express at Secunderabad stations. Passengers are having trouble with trains stopping anywhere. Railway officials did not say when the train service would resume.
