Consensus continued in the AP even in the third phase of panchayat elections. The list of consensus is coming out after the withdrawal of nominations. The panchayats were more united than in the second installment. Meanwhile, arrangements have been finalized for the second phase of panchayat elections on Saturday. In some constituencies there are no elections for tens of panchayats. No rivals, no campaigns. Most panchayats were unanimous, especially in the ministerial constituencies. Almost all the panchayats in Minister Peddireddy constituency are not contesting. With the withdrawal of nominations in the third tranche panchayat elections coming to an end, the authorities have announced a consensus based on the nominations filed till then.

In the first installment 525 panchayats were unanimous. In the second installment 539 panchayats were unanimous. The YCP air continued in both installments. The ruling party candidates are leading in the third installment as well. The TDP has expressed doubts over the consensus in Punganur and Machar constituencies. The High Court also intervened in the consensus in these two constituencies. The State Election Commission has been directed to consider complaints on forced consensus and rejection of nominations. As the unanimous statements and controversies continue .. Arrangements have been completed for the second installment of panchayat elections in AP.

The second phase of polling for the panchayat elections will be held on Saturday from 6.30 am to 3.30 pm. Elections are being held for… 2,786 panchayats in 167 constituencies in 18 divisions across 13 districts across the state. Polling will be held in the agency villages till 1.30 pm and counting of votes will take place from 4 pm. The sub-punch election process will take place after the results are revealed. A total of 3,328 panchayats have been notified for the second installment. A total of 539 sarpanch seats and 12 thousand 604 wards were consolidated in the second installment. So .. the fourth installment nomination process is also over. The third phase of polling for the AP panchayat elections will be held on the 17th and the fourth phase on the 21st.
