‘40 Lakh Tractors Will Be There’: Farmer Leader Rakesh Tikait Warns Of ‘Parliament Gherao’
New Delhi: Farmers’ union leader Rakesh Tikait has warned that Parliament will be besieged if the central government does not repeal cultivation laws. He said all the farmers should be ready to move towards Delhi and there was a possibility of a call for a siege of Delhi at any moment. He was speaking at the Kisan Mahapanchayat organized by the United Kisan Morcha in Shikhar, Rajasthan.
This time not 4 lakh tractors .. Tikayat has issued warnings that they will attack the parliament with 40 lakh tractors. Concerned farmers said they would plow the parks at India Gate and plant crops. Parliament says the date of the siege will be decided by the United Front. He was accused of trying to inflict violence on farmers during a tractor rally on January 26.
The country’s farmers love the tricolor flag but .. not the country’s leaders. He challenged the central government to demolish the warehouses of big companies if the laws are not repealed. Settle said they would prepare with dates to demolish them. Those dates will be finalized soon.
