Imran Khan to leave for Sri Lanka on the 23rd
Pak not agreeing to Modi’s trip in the past
New Delhi: India has allowed Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan to fly over Sri Lankan airspace. Central sources have already revealed. He will leave for Sri Lanka on the 23rd and the flight will pass through India. Imran Khan is scheduled to travel to Sri Lanka for a two-day visit with his cabinet colleagues and a delegation of officials. This is a situation that has to go over India. India has responded positively to the request made by that country in this regard.
Former President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have refused to allow VIP flights to pass through Pakistani airspace. Officials said that human rights violations were rampant in Jammu and Kashmir and hence Modi was not allowed to use his airspace. With the incident in mind, the Indian Civil Aviation Authority allowed Imran Khan to board the flight.
