Hyderabad: Classes 6, 7 and 8 will start in Telangana from tomorrow. The Department of Education has approved the opening of schools to this extent. Education Minister Sabita Indrareddy has directed that classes should start from tomorrow to March 1. Revealing that the decision was taken in accordance with the directives of CM KCR, she directed that the Kovid guidelines must be followed and the permission of the parents must also be taken. She said there was no requirement for students to attend school as a matter of duty and parental permission was required to send children to school.

However, schools have been closed since the end of March last year due to Kovid. After a long time the colleges started but the schools did not open. The 9th and 10th classes are already going on in Telangana. In this context, the government has decided to open schools for students in other classes as well. As part of this, the government has given permission to start the latest 6th, 7th and 8th classes.
