Warangal: The Medaram Sammakka-Saralamma mini fair started today. The Medaram Fair is held every two years, followed by the Mini Fair next year. Thousands of devotees will also pay homage to the plants, which will be held for four days till the 27th of this month.
Authorities estimate that more than 20 lakh devotees will attend this time. Meanwhile, devotees have already queued up for the nymph darshan. Gaddela area with devotees, Jampanna Vaagu has taken on new art.
The government has spent Rs 1.52 crore for the Medaram mini fair. There were already cold pigs lying in the courtyard of the Ammala alley. Black is fitted in Jampannavagu for the baths of the devotees. Rooms were set up for women to change clothes. Ten mini water tanks were set up for drinking water. For the convenience of the devotees, RTC runs special buses from Warangal and Hanmakonda.
