As of this Tuesday, anyone aged 35 or over can be vaccinated without self-scheduling. The “Open House” modality is subject to the use of the Janssen vaccine.
The “Open House” modality is already available for the vaccination of the first doses of users who are not scheduled, with age 35 years old or more, and who have not been infected with covid-19 in the past six months.
A task force for vaccination in Portugal, recalls that this modality is subject to the use of the Janssen vaccine, since 19 July.
In the statement, quoted by Jornal de Notícias, the task force it also appeals to users who have not anticipated taking the second dose of AstraZeneca vaccine, after they have completed an eight-week break and have not yet been contacted.
These citizens must present themselves “proactively at the same COVID-19 Vaccination Center (CVC) where they took the first dose”.
The opening hours of this modality in the Vaccination Centers can be consulted here.
