The Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) has registered a complaint against Shivan alleging that his son Siddharth was recruited by ISRO against the rules. However, just days before K Sivan’s retirement on January 14, Siddharthan got a job at the ISRO Liquid Propulsion Systems Center (LPSC) in Thiruvananthapuram. The Vigilance Commission has received a complaint that the appointment was not made as per the rules.
According to the regulations, in order to hire an employee in ISRO, screening, written test and interview have to be conducted. But the case was registered after ISRO employee Narayanan complained to the CVC that Siddharth had just been interviewed and given a job. However, K Sivan’s office said that the appointment was made as per the rules.
